O-NOI-OGG

"O Noi Ogg" is a short process that children commonly use to select, order, group, or separate sides before starting various games that require team selection or ranking. This is done by counting the number of hands showing palm up or palm down as a means of division. It is typically used when there are at least three children; if only two are left, they switch to "rock-paper-scissors" instead. Surprisingly, "O Noi Ogg" and "rock-paper-scissors" are widely known throughout the country, even though communication in earlier times was not as convenient. Children from all regions are familiar with "O Noi Ogg" in the same way.

As for children from other countries, to my knowledge, "O Noi Ogg" is not commonly practiced. Instead, they typically use rock-paper-scissors (or what is called "hammer-paper-scissors") for selection. Regardless of the number of participants, they play rock-paper-scissors until they narrow down the group. If there are more than three people, the hand signs serve primarily as a count of those showing rock, scissors, or paper. The one with the least representation is eliminated first. Only when there are two remaining does rock-paper-scissors decide who has the superior right among rock, scissors, and paper.
